James and Jennifer Crumbley have been taken into custody inside the basement of a building near where their abandoned SUV was found.
State police and SWAT surrounded the area of the 1100 block of Bellevue in Detroit where the vehicle was found late Friday in a parking lot. The Crumbleys were discovered after a short search of the area.
Police will be holding a press conference at 3 a.m. ET
A Detroit police spokesman tells Fox News he can confirm positive identification on the Crumbleys’ vehicle. A civilian spotted it. Police are searching the area.
