Joe Biden and Jen Psaki had difficulty with even mentioning the “C” word (communism) when it came to the protests in Cuba. Instead, they blamed the protests on the pandemic and the economy.

Biden did insist that he would stand with the Cuban people against their tyrannical government (even if he had problems naming what the ideology was that was causing the problem).

How has he followed through with that promise? He doesn’t seem to have done anything in response. That’s how much the “word of a Biden” is worth.

Cuban Americans and Florida lawmakers at a protest in Miami told Sean Hannity that they’ve been pleading with the White House and they’ve been completely blown off.

Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar (R-FL) said that she has asked Biden for a meeting as much as “three times a day” but has gotten no response. Governor Ron DeSantis, Senator Marco Rubio, and Mayor Francis Suarez were all there supporting the protest and calling on Biden to help. Salazar won her seat — which she flipped from being Democratic — likely, in part, because of concerns about how Biden would concede to the left.

Two of the demonstrators were covered in theatrical blood, gagged and chained — representing what is going on now in Cuba, one of them said.

“These chains represent the dictatorship in Cuba. This blood represents the blood that is going to be on the hands of those who stand next to the dictatorship – and not next to the Cuban people,” he said.

“Joe Biden, Cuba wants freedom,” he said, addressing the president. “They need freedom. They don’t want vaccines, they don’t want food, they need freedom: That’s what the Cuban people deserve, and that’s what they want.”

You would think that he could at least pretend to care and listen to the concerns being expressed by the people. But apparently, he wants to give up on Florida for the foreseeable future, with this kind of an attitude.
