Uber and Lyft were prepared to shutdown their operations in California tonight, but they were given a little extra time to comply with California’s AB5 Law.
The Big-Government State will force Uber and Lyft to shut down (or greatly reduce their business and presence) within California if they don’t classify drivers as employees instead of independent contractors. Ultimately, California Law will be the reason for loss of hundreds of thousands of jobs, longer wait times for riders and increased fares.
Ironically, Uber and Lyft contribute heavily to the Democrat Platform and ACLU. California Democrats are the ones screwing the two Ridesharing companies 😂
