Nigel Farage made a gigantic prediction recently and said he thinks Donald Trump will re-emerge in 2024 and win the presidential election.

In an op-ed for the Express, Farage — a former member of the European Parliament and the man who championed Brexit — wrote that he recently met with Trump in Florida.

Farage said there’s a thirst for optimism in the United States and that Trump would win again in 2024 if he runs for president.

“My first stop was to see an old friend. President Trump looked fit and well at his Mar-a-Lago base and is very seriously considering another run next time around,” Farage wrote.

“Nobody can inspire conservatives in the US like he can and the Democratic Party should think carefully about underestimating him. One thing is for sure in American politics; Trump is not going away,” he added.

Though Farage says “Republican activists and politicians alike are still downbeat and dispirited” after the questionable 2020 election, and “Allegations of electoral fraud still loom large and there is not a great deal of enthusiasm in the air,” he compared the current political landscape to that of the United Kingdom in 2016.

“As we now know, the establishment spent years trying to overturn the democratic will of the British people,” Farage wrote.

“However, after launching the Brexit Party in 2019 and winning the European elections with just six weeks of campaigning, we showed that the grassroots can fight back to victory,” he added.

“For a while, it looked as though Brexit might not happen but we seized it back and got it over the line,” Farage adds. “That is my message to Republicans on this trip. However bad Biden and the Democrats are, in some ways, their opportunity is now.”

Going into the 2024 election, Farage recommends the same style of grassroots activism in the U.S. that he saw with the Brexit movement back in 2016.

“The American conservative movement can take back their country as we did by offering people a hopeful image of the future. In politics, it is not just elections we must win, but hearts and minds,” he said.

Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio made similar comments recently, saying if Donald Trump runs for president again in 2024, there is not a single person who could beat the 45th president in the Republican primary.

During an interview on Newsmax, Rubio called Trump “the most popular and most influential Republican in America.”

“I think he’ll still be that in ’22 and ’24, and if decides to run for the president and the nomination, he’s going to be the party’s nominee,” Rubio told Newsmax host Greg Kelly. “That’s the way I see it.

“He hasn’t made that decision. It’s still a long way down the road, but if Donald Trump decides to run in 2024 again, he’s going to be the Republican nominee, and I think almost everyone that I’ve talked to would agree with that,” he added.

It may be nearly four years until the 2024 presidential election, but political handicappers are already sizing up the field for the Republican Party.

If Trump runs again, there’s no doubt the party is behind him and he would win the nomination.

According to a Washington Times/CPAC poll, Trump is the overwhelming favorite to win the 2024 GOP nomination.

The poll found that over 95% of respondents approved of the job that Trump did as president.

More than two-thirds of respondents said that they wanted Trump to run again, while 15% said they did not, and 17% were unsure.

A staggering 95% of respondents want the GOP to continue pursuing the policies of Trump.

If Trump were to run for president again, 55% of respondents said they would vote for him, followed by 21% for Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis, and 4% for South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem.

If Trump is not on the ticket in 2024, a whopping 43% of respondents said that they would vote for DeSantis, followed by 11% for Noem.

It’s clearly Trump’s to lose if he chooses to run again in 2024.
