Donald Trump has appeared at the Republican convention in Milwaukee for the first time less than three days after he survived an assassination attempt.
The former president wore a bandage on his right ear where the bullet fired by Thomas Matthew Crooks ripped through his skin.
The crowd of adoring Republicans were sent into raptures as their newly-anointed presidential candidate graced the screens and then went into his family box.
The audience erupted in thunderous applause and started chanting ‘fight, fight, fight’, echoing his words from just moment after Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire at his Pennsylvania rally.
Tim Scott told the crowd before Trump came out: ‘If you didn’t believe in miracles before Saturday—you better be believing right now…Because on Saturday, the devil came to Pennsylvania holding a rifle—but an AMERICAN LION got back up on his feet, and he ROARRRRRRRRED…’
