Joe Biden struggled mightly — again — trying to answer basic questions from reporters on Friday morning.
While speaking about his $2.1 trillion infrastructure plan, Biden got a little testy when reporters asked him about a possible new covid outbreak in the U.S. from the so-called “Delta variant.”
“Wages are up faster than any time in 15 years. We’re bringing our troops home. We have — all across America, people going to ball games and doing good things. This is good. I’ll answer all of your negative questions — not negative, your legitimate questions,” Biden angrily said to a reporter.
Biden had another awkward exchange:
Reporter: “Sir, on Afghanistan — “
Biden: “I’m not going to answer any more questions on Afghanistan. Look, Fourth of July — “
Reporter: “On the economy — “
Biden: “I’m concerned that you guys are asking me questions that I’ll answer next week, but this is a holiday weekend, I’m going to celebrate it, there’s great things happening.”
