Barron Trump gushed about his father and said he and his siblings will ‘never come close’ to Donald’s achievements, according to conservative pundit Patrick Bet David.
Bet David, 45, a businessman and podcaster, shared a clip of him speaking at the Sales Leadership Summit 2024, claiming Barron said his billionaire father had a ‘hard life.’
He also revealed the moment he was impressed with the former president’s son, saying he was amazed by Barron’s polite demeanor despite his privileged upbringing.
‘The more I spend time with Baron Trump, the more impressed I am with him. Most interesting 18-year-old I’ve met,’ Bet David said.

Bet David said his interaction with Barron came after doing a podcast with boxer Ryan Garcia.
‘Yesterday, we’re with Barron Trump. Barron’s a very interesting guy. The son of Donald Trump, 6’7 [or] 6’8. We’re doing a podcast for Ryan Garcia,’ Bet David said at the conference.
‘He stays there, and he walks us. He says, ‘Let me walk you to your car.”
Bet David said he was astonished that ‘the son of a billionaire, who’s a president’ would offer to walk him to his car.
‘He’s working [in] customer service,’ he said. ‘He walks us to our car, and he’s standing there until we get in the car to leave.’
The businessman claimed Barron then began gushing over his father and said he would ‘never come close’ to his achievements in life.
He claimed Barron told him: ‘Look no matter what I do, no matter what my brothers do, no matter how much money we make, our success will never come close to what our father had to do, cause he really had the hard life.’
‘Not us, we had an easy life,’ he added, according to Bet David, who said the interaction left him feeling that Barron was a ‘stud of a kid.’
Bet David’s comments come days after Donald Trump appeared on the businessman’s podcast PBD, where the former president divulged a rare piece of personal information about Barron when asked about his son’s dating life.
Trump routinely recites just a few anodyne facts when asked about his 18-year-old son with former first lady Melania Trump, but was more candid on his appearance this month.
Bet David asked him: ‘Is he good with the ladies in school at NYU? Is he there yet?’
Rather than dodge it, Trump gave a direct answer.
‘No, I’m not sure he’s – I don’t think he’s had a girlfriend yet,’ Trump revealed. ‘I don’t think so. Every once in a while …’ he said.
‘He’s a good looking guy,’ Trump added about his towering 6-foot-9 son.
