The radical Democratic Party’s plan to pack the Supreme Court with four more justices appears to be in jeopardy.
On Thursday, Speaker Pelosi was asked if she supported the bill, which was passed out of the House Judiciary Committee.
“No,” Pelosi said. “I have no plans to bring it to the floor.”
The bill would add four SCOTUS justice seats, bringing the total to 13 justices. The House Judiciary Committee Chair Jerry Nadler, Subcommittee chair Hank Johnson and freshman Rep. Mondaire Jones co-sponsored the House bill. In the Senate, the bill is being sponsored by Sen. Ed Markey.
This is breaking news, it will be updated as more information is forthcoming.
