Harvard President Claudine Gay is to resign today after a disastrous, brief tenure at as head of the university, according to the student newspaper The Crimson.

Gay’s resignation has not been formally announced. Gay, who took the job just eight months ago, fell out of favor with disastrous congressional testimony about campus antisemitism last month.

She repeatedly refused to condemn calls for Jew genocide, saying such calls did not count as harassment, then claimed she’d been misunderstood when met with a wave of public backlash.

Since that hearing, she has been accused of plagiarism.
