President Biden’s 53-year-old son Hunter Biden gave a surprise speech outside the Capitol on Wednesday — beginning 10 minute after he was supposed to be testifying under oath under threat of a contempt vote.

“For six years, I’ve been the target of the unrelenting Trump attack machine shouting, ‘Where’s Hunter?’ Well, here’s my answer, ‘I am here,’” Hunter said. “Let me state as clearly as I can: my father was not financially involved in my business, not as a practicing lawyer, not as a board member of Burisma. Not my partnership with a Chinese private businessman, not in my investments at home nor abroad, and certainly not as an artist.”
“I’m here to testify at a public hearing today to answer any of the committees legitimate questions.”
