Democrats on the Jan. 6 Committee are considering pushing for an end to the electoral college as they become more publicly hyper-partisan and hostile to the U.S. Constitution.
Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) is in opposition to the Democrats’ idea of ending the electoral college. Perhaps she is now starting to realize that she has been used and abused for a communist agenda. Cheney is feuding with Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) over the direction of the committee.
“Liz is much more conservative, as far as what kinds of changes she wants to see done,” an anonymous source familiar with the situation told Axios.
According to the source, the wedge between Cheney and Raskin threatens to disrupt the unity and “the unanimity that we’ve had to date, so that we can go into the hearings and just get through the hearings, and then tackle the hard stuff on the other side.”
“We do recognize that there are significant differences [in legislative recommendations] that we’re going to have to work through because everybody has to sign the final report,” the source stated.
