- Republican caucus-goers are making their voices heard on Tuesday in Nevada and the U.S. Virgin Islands’ caucuses.
- Donald Trump quickly defeated Nikki Haley in the Virgin Islands, but Haley’s not participating in Nevada.
- Nevada’s caucus is set to end at 7:30 local time on Thursday, or 10:30 Eastern.
Former President Donald Trump is looking to pick up two victories on Thursday in the 2024 race for the White House.
The former president quickly notched a win over former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley in the U.S. Virgin Islands’ caucus, with voters widely supporting Trump.
However, the Republican rivals aren’t competing head to head in Nevada’s GOP-run caucus. That’s because Haley opted to participate in Nevada’s Republican primary on Tuesday, where she faced an embarrassing result. More voters in the state selected a “none of these candidates” option on their ballot than the former United Nations ambassador.
President Joe Biden also participated in the Nevada Democratic primary on Tuesday, notching a win against a group of his challengers.
