Nancy Pelosi says the U.S. will come to an END if Trump is re-elected after he called her ‘wicked witch’
- Pelosi said if Trump became president it would be like ‘the world being on fire.’
- ‘It cannot happen, or we will not be the United States of America,’ she added
- After ex-Speaker said Trump looked like a ‘scared puppy’ at his arraignment, the former president called her the ‘Wicked Witch’
Nancy Pelosi thinks that the U.S. is doomed if Donald Trump becomes president again and says the latest indictment of the ex-President stands the best chance of getting him into prison rather than the White House.
The former House Speaker launched the war of words with Trump after claiming he looked like a ‘scared puppy’ during his D.C. court appearance on Thursday.
She also called the third and latest indictment against Trump ‘beautiful’ and said he knows he is going to have to face the music for trying to overturn the 2020 election results.
If Trump were to become president again, Pelosi claims, the U.S. as we know it will no longer exist.
Trump shot back at Pelosi’s ‘scared puppy’ comments by calling her the ‘Wicked Witch’ who will ‘somebody live in hell.’
When asked about the potential of Trump getting a second shot in the White House, Pelosi told New York Magazine: ‘Don’t even think of that.’
‘Don’t think of the world being on fire,’ the California Democrat added in the article published on Monday. ‘It cannot happen, or we will not be the United States of America.’
‘If he were to be president, it would be a criminal enterprise in the White House.’
Trump now has three indictments against him, the first from March when he was indicted for his hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels. The second came in June in regards to his mishandling of classified information. And the latest this month saw the ex-President charged with four counts for conspiring to overturn the 2020 election results.
‘The indictments against the president are exquisite,’ Pelosi told NYMag when referencing the latest charges and the few dozen in the classified document case.
She added: ‘They’re beautiful and intricate, and they probably have a better chance of conviction than anything that I would come up with.’
Pelosi, while still House Speaker, oversaw two impeachments against Trump in the lower chamber. Both times Trump was acquitted by the Senate.
While picking apart Trump’s tough guy image, Pelosi said that the Republican 2024 frontrunner looked like a ‘scared puppy’ during his court appearance Thursday.
The California lawmaker, now called speaker emerita, ridiculed Trump hours after he pleaded not guilty after glancing at special counsel Jack Smith inside a federal courthouse.
‘I wasn’t in the courtroom, of course. But when I saw his coming out of his car and this or that, I saw a scared puppy,’ she said, after Trump flew into Washington for his 27-minute hearing before a U.S. magistrate judge, then addressed cameras and blasted the city where he lived for four years.
‘He looked very, very, very concerned about the fate,’ Pelosi told MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell. ‘I didn’t see any bravado or confidence or anything like that. He knows he knows the truth, that he lost the election and now he’s got to face the music.’
Trump said now that Pelosi has come after him, he can go after her. He claimed that he wanted to remain respectful when it came to the story involving her husband falling victim to a home invasion.
‘I purposely didn’t comment on Nancy Pelosi’s very weird story concerning her husband, but now I can because she said something about me, with glee, that was really quite vicious,’ Trump posted to his social media platform Truth Social.
He said it was ‘mean a thing to say.’
‘She is a Wicked Witch whose husbands journey from hell starts and finishes with her,’ Trump wrote. ‘She is a sick & demented psycho who will someday live in HELL!’
