Fox News reporter Peter Doocy on Friday asked White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre why Joe Biden was bragging about gas prices.
Gas prices skyrocketed in the last year because of Joe Biden’s war on domestic energy.
Biden on Friday bragged about gas prices being $3.99 a gallon on average.

Gas prices are still very high – much higher than they were when Biden was installed in January 2021.
Peter Doocy asked Karine Jean-Pierre why Joe Biden was bragging about $4/gallon gas.
“Why is the President bragging today about gas prices?” Doccy queried.
“Because it’s gone down,” KJP said.
Doocy: “It’s still $1.72 higher than when he took office.
“KJP replied, “It has come down in a way that we have not seen…in over a decade.”

“Still over $4/gallon, though. Is that good?” Doocy said.
KJP: “You want to talk to a nurse or a teacher or a firefighter, if having that little bit of breathing room doesn’t matter to them?”
“Are [they] saying gas prices are only $4.11?” Doocy replied.
