Ron DeSantis is set to announce his run for president tomorrow night on Twitter in a conversation with Elon Musk after months of speculation.
Sources confirmed to DailyMail.com that the Florida Governor, 44, will hold a Twitter Spaces with the CEO on Wednesday at 6pm.
The long-anticipated start of the Republican’s White House campaign will be moderated by David Sacks, a tech entrepreneur.
DeSantis’ campaign will then release a campaign video, and he is expected to start touring states early in the primary process after Memorial Day.
Former President Donald Trump has been leading DeSantis in almost all nationwide polls in recent months.
In some states, he has a double-digit lead over DeSantis.
