- It was unclear what they said to him, but James said after the match that obscene gestures and insults would not be tolerated
- ‘I would never say it to a fan and a fan should never say it to a player,’ the 36-year-old said after the game
- On Sunday James was ordered off the court during a game against the Detroit Pistons after intentionally elbowing center Isaiah Stewart in the eye
- James was given a one-match suspension for the offense
