Three US Navy sailors are found dead in ‘unrelated’ incidents on USS George Washington in under a week as rapid intervention psychiatric team is deployed on board

  •  Retail Services Specialist 3rd Class Mika’il Sharp and Electrician 3rd Class Natasha Huffman were found dead on April 9 and 10, respectively
  • A third sailor was found unresponsive on board the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, his name has not been released 
  •  The Navy deployed a psychiatric specialists to the ship to handle the trauma of three deaths so close together
  • The Naval Criminal Investigative Service is looking into the deaths 
  •  Family and friends are grieving the loss
