Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) will take the lead in upgrading the nation’s aviation system, setting off a sharp exchange with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
The confrontation began when Duffy announced in a social media post that DOGE would participate in efforts to enhance the nation’s aviation system.
“Big News – Talked to the DOGE team. They are going to plug in to help upgrade our aviation system,” he wrote in a post on X.

Clinton quickly responded, criticizing the idea.
“They have no relevant experience. Most of them aren’t old enough to rent a car,” she wrote.
