During a presser after a meeting with the National Republican Senatorial Committee on Thursday, Donald Trump slammed the Biden administration’s handling of different issues, with one being that Russian ships have arrived off the coast of Florida near Cuba.

“We don’t want to see Russian ships right off the coast of Florida, which is where they are right now. That’s unthinkable,” Trump told reporters in the presser in a long list of problems he saw with the United States.

“We want to see — just — success for our country, and we don’t have success right now,” he added.

The topic was among other policy issues Trump listed that have been perceived as large failures for the Biden administration. “We want to see borders; we want to see a strong military. We want to see money not wasted all over the world. We don’t want to see Russian ships right off the coast of Florida—which is what they are right now, it’s unthinkable.” He pressed on immigration, the economy, and other issues, adding that Biden is “being laughed at all over the world.”

Trump also touched on the unity with the Republican Senate and House to solve the problems facing the country, “What’s happening to the country is of great concern to the group people standing alongside of me,” Trump said, speaking about the senators around him. “A lot of very smart people in this room, and a lot of people that love our country. They love our country beyond just about all else, and the only thing that maybe supersedes it is their family and maybe their faith.”

“They want this country to be great again and we’re going to make it great again. So, I just want to thank the Republican Senate and I want to thank also the House.”

Earlier this past week, Biden’s National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan told reporters that the administration is monitoring Russian military drills in the Atlantic. Four Russian warships, including a nuclear-powered submarine, were stationed around 200 miles off Florida’s coast.
