Ahead of Vice President Kamala Harris’ sit-down interview with CNN set for Thursday, the first since she was announced as the Democratic presidential candidate to replace Biden in the race over a month ago, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s campaign has issued a number of questions that CNN’s Dana Bash should ask the candidate, who will be appearing alongside her running mate Tim Walz.

The questions center around the fact that Harris is currently serving in the White House, and has vowed to fix things that she could have, or could now potentially fix.

The campaign surmised that Harris has her first interview planned just before Labor Day weekend because it is hoping for low viewership.

“It’s no coincidence that Kamala’s first interview is scheduled for the Thursday night before Labor Day weekend. They already hope it gets lost — and it hasn’t even aired yet. Kamala is clearly scared to do an interview on her own and it’s pre-taped so they can clean it up.”

The Trump campaign has also provided advice to the Harris-Walz campaign on communications, designing and posting a policy page since there is a dearth of such information on her own website.
