- Donald Trump lashed out at his former Attorney General Bill Barr on Sunday evening for being a ‘disappointment’ and ‘letting down the American people’
- Comments come after a report emerged Sunday that Barr felt Trump’s election fraud claims were ‘bulls**t’ from the start despite opening a DOJ probe
- Former president accused Barr of not fully investigating claims of voter fraud when he was head of the Justice Department
- Trump wrote: ‘It’s people in authority like Bill Barr that allow the crazed Radical Left to succeed’
- Also claimed Mitch McConnell pressured Barr to downplay voter fraud claims because he was worried about losing two runoff elections in Georgia at the time
- Barr said he only opened election fraud probe at the Justice Department after the 2020 election to cover his bases when Trump came to him about it
- ‘My attitude was: It was put-up or shut-up time,’ Barr told Axios’ Jonathan Karl. ‘If there was evidence of fraud, I had no motive to suppress it’
- Added: ‘But my suspicion all the way along was that there was nothing there. It was all bulls**t’
