The Ukrainian government is demanding another $750 billion to rebuild the country after Russia has devastated them.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky demanded that the world join “the greatest contribution to the maintenance of global peace” by giving his failed nation more welfare. They have already soaked up tens of billions of dollars to maintain the war effort, resulting in little more than additional dead Ukrainians as a result.
“The reconstruction of Ukraine is not a local project, is not a project of one nation, but a common task of the entire democratic world — all countries, all countries who can say they are civilized,” Zelensky said at the Ukraine Recovery Conference.
“Restoring Ukraine means restoring the principles of life, restoring the space of life, restoring everything that makes humans human,” he added.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that the cost to rebuild Ukraine will come to $750 billion. He said that Western governments could shake down some Russians and confiscate their assets to prop up his fledgling, failed regime.
“The Russian authorities unleash this bloody war. They caused this massive destruction and they should be held accountable for it,” Shmyhal said.
European Union’s executive branch vice president Valdis Dombrovskis said that stealing assets from Russians to give to Ukraine would present “legal obstacles,” meaning it is against the law, but that doesn’t mean the globalists won’t try their best anyway.
“We think it’s important that according to the principle of ‘aggressor pays’ it’s also Russia’s assets which are directed to the reconstruction of Ukraine,” Dombrovskis said.
Big League Politics has reported on Ukraine becoming a sinkhole for funds as the West implodes due to mass idiocy and insanity:
“How much foreign money can Americans afford to send overseas? Senator Rand Paul has for a long time been one of the Republican Party’s most outspoken members against involving the United States in entanglements abroad. The Kentucky Republican Senator has kept up this track record as of late, recently making headlines after he said that America has to “borrow money from China” in order to send $40 billion in aid to Ukraine.
Paul had previously taken the news by storm last week after he worked to hold up the entire Ukraine package.
“My oath of office is the US constitution not to any foreign nation and no matter how sympathetic the cause, my oath of office is to the national security of the United States of America,” Paul said on the Senate floor last week. “We cannot save Ukraine by dooming the US economy.”
The senator has doubled down on this sentiment, explaining the economic consequences of approving such a bill.
“I think it’s important to know that we don’t have any money to send, we have to borrow money from China to send it to Ukraine. And I think most people kind of get that, and many Republicans will say that when it’s a new social program, but if it’s military aid to a country, they’re like we can borrow that, that’s a justified borrowing,” Paul explained in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News Daily’s Alex Marlow.
Paul was one of only 11 Republican Senators to vote against advancing the taxpayer-funded foreign-aid package. Other “no” votes included Sens. Hawley, Mike Crapo (R-ID), Bill Hagerty (R-TN), Mike Braun (R-IN), Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), John Boozman (R-AR), Roger Marshall (R-KS), Cynthia Lummis (R-WY), and Tommy Tuberville (R-AL).”
Ukraine’s loss shows how globalist hubris can only fend off reality for so long. Russia has emerged in a stronger position than ever, and that will only become more obvious as Western powers throw more money down a rathole for this corrupt country.
