Val, with her superior web design skills, set up Hyvor to prevent anyone with a guest account or who has never posted before, e.g., someone who was banned coming back with a new account, from posting. It kept the fucks out. It prevented us needing help moderating the site.
The problem is it prevents anyone new from posting. There have been messages received that some people from other websites have tried posting and can’t. There are some who want to interact but don’t want to create a Hyvor account, and they prefer to post as ‘guest’.
I’m not going to prevent anyone from posting here with good intentions from posting here. Even the buyer’s remorse people are welcome to post here. Val is forgiving – aren’t you Val .
You may see upvotes from ‘guests’. You may see new avatars you’ve never seen before. You may see posts from ‘guests’. We never wanted this to be a ‘club’ atmosphere and due to a handful of fucking psycho’s, that’s what it has become.
