Trump does not speak to reporters after court as jurors dismissed after lengthy closing arguments
Donald Trump did not make a statement to reporters as he left the courthouse at 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
The former president raised and pumped his left fist as he walked out following a long day of closing arguments in the “hush money” trial.
Jason Miller had stated that Trump had a “private event” at 8:30 p.m. and was unlikely to speak with the press.
Verdict could come as soon as Wednesday
Jurors are set to begin deliberations Wednesday in the historic criminal trial against Donald Trump.
Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan will instruct the jurors when court reconvenes at 10 a.m., a process that is likely to take at least an hour.
The seven men and five women on the panel will then start weighing the case and a verdict could come anytime after that.
