The Wisconsin Assembly has voted to move forward a resolution to reclaim Wisconsin’s 10 electors for president and vice president after numerous accusations of voter irregularities that were said to have taken place during the 2020 election.
Rep. Timothy Ramthun put forward the joint resolution which was passed on a unanimous voice vote. The resolution will now move to the Wisconsin Rules Committee and then the Wisconsin Senate.
The Gateway Pundit reported the following: “The resolution was privileged. This way they were able to do a vote within the session that was currently in place. And the result was all ‘Yes,’ a unanimous vote to move the legislation to the Rules Committee. It’s in the hands of Speaker Vos, a Republican. So Speaker Vos and the rest of the representatives have ten days to answer back on whether he’s going to push it to the floor for a vote. It is not clear what the Wisconsin Senate will do with it yet.”
Wisconsin has been the source of many controversies surrounding the state’s conduct during the 2020 election.
Former Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman is leading a review of the 2020 election to investigate how the elections were conducted and whether there is merit to the countless claims of voter irregularities.
Gableman has claimed that Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg spent millions of dollars on local Wisconsin election offices with the goal of defeating President Donald Trump.
Justice Gableman, who serves on the Wisconsin Assembly Committee on Campaigns and Elections, investigating the 2020 election in Wisconsin, said during an informational hearing, “It’s very clear that Mark Zuckerberg’s goal was to defeat Donald Trump and elect Joe Biden. He poured $8.8 million into Democrat cities in Wisconsin and in the guise of ‘Covid safety.’”
Also, the Racine County Sheriff’s Office announced in November that it plans to forward election fraud charges against several members of the Wisconsin Election Commission (WEC) to the Racine County District Attorney’s Office.
Sheriff Christopher Schmaling has recommended criminal charges against five members of the Wisconsin Election Commission, including election fraud charges after Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul failed to conduct a statewide investigation into WEC’s decision to suspend the Special Voting Deputy process required, according to a media release.
A Waukesha County judge has previously ruled that absentee ballot drop boxes can no longer be used in Wisconsin elections.

Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge Michael Bohren affirmed state law requires absentee ballots to be returned either in person or via mail, not in a ballot dropbox.
This plethora of alleged voting irregularities is why Rep. Ramthun has become the first state representative to move to reclaim Wisconsin’s electors in the state’s history.
