Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) went off on a staffer for Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) after the staffer, who was with Greene just outside the House chamber, called out to Swalwell that Joe Biden said he could take his COVID mask off. Swalwell got in the face of the staffer and angrily said, ““You don’t tell me what to f***ing do!”

The incident was reported by The Hill reporter Scott Wong and confirmed by both Greene and Swalwell. The confrontation comes after Greene caused a Capitol meltdown by daring to peacefully confront Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) over her support of terrorism and for ducking a debate on the Green New Deal.

Wong’s report, “Another verbal altercation just happened in the House: MTG’s spokesman Nick Dyer told @RepSwalwell: “Biden says you can take off your mask” Swalwell confronted Dyer, got in his face and according to Dyer, said: “You don’t tell me what to f***ing do!”…I saw the altercation but was not close enough to hear Swalwell.”

Swalell commented online, “I had a mask on as I stepped off the Floor. An aide with @mtgreenee yelled at me to take my mask off. No one should be bullied for wearing a mask. So I told the bully what I thought of his order. Predictably, he went speechless. I regret I wasn’t more explicit.”

Greene’s comments, “.@ericswalwell aggressively approached my staffer, got inches from his face, and verbally assaulted him. He totally lost control in front of me and Capitol Police.”
